CLASS NEEDS & GUILD INFO (Updated Aug 3, 2010)
GENERAL APPLICANT INFO:
Current Scheduled Raid Days: Server Time (EST): Monday 8PM, Tuesday 8PM, Wednesday 8PM, Thursday 8PM If you cannot make three out of the four days, on time, for the full duration, then do not bother applying. Times listed are start times; be prepared and ready for invites a half hour or so prior. Raids generally end around Midnight. Current Class Demand:
WOW, YOU NEED ME (OR WE DON'T BUT YOU WANT TO TRY ANYWAY)! WHAT DO I DO? Post your application here. Be on for raid invites and let an appropriate person know you're available. If you have questions that aren't already answered on this forum, talk to the following in-game (please don't ask us recruiting questions while we're raiding, or, at the very least, don't expect a timely response): Recruitment Officers: Ameil, Twizell, Whommp. Raid Leader: Ameil General Officers: Kanei GUILD INFO AND BRIEF HISTORY: stalk and kill (LOWERCASE sk) originated way back in 1999 during the Quake 3 test, and moved on to World of Warcraft when it was released on the Whisperwind server. sk was a part of a guild alliance which went through Molten Core and Blackwing Lair up to Chromaggus, at which point the server transfers to Dalvengyr from Hellscream, Alleria, and Whisperwind were opened. The full guild alliance, with the exception of a handful of players, transferred over and reformed entirely into stalk and kill. Many of the core members of this merger are still present to this day. Thereafter, we progressed onwards through the better part of Ahn'Qiraj and Naxxramas until the ennui prior to The Burning Crusade hit. stalk and kill has never been a very hardcore raiding guild. We've always maintained a fairly light schedule of three or four raid nights, but still remained current in content. This free time enabled us to produce numerous Grand Marshals in the old days of PvP, and many more Field Marshals. Our ranks are swelled with casual members, either from raiders who stepped down, or from friends and family of other members. As a result, our guild chat is generally lively, often in a way that can only be expected from people who have known each other for years. Through its numerous low points throughout the years, stalk and kill keeps pulling through like a cockroach in a nuclear holocaust. Our longevity can be attributed to the facts that we genuinely enjoy each others company (as completely backwardly expressed as it can be, at times), that we have some very stubborn core members, and we may be somewhat masochistic. Other guilds have come and gone, and we keep treading on without feeding off of the corpses of those that have gone and without poaching from those that are coming up.
